Get to know me and how the last ten years has shaped and inspired my purpose and mission.
When I was young I coped with the child abuse I suffered by dreaming of a life with white sandy beaches, surrounded by people I loved, and the ability to live life on my terms - just like an everyday vacation.
I spent most of my days feeling trapped because we struggled with money and never felt like we had enough to get away from the situation. I made a promise to myself that I would grow up and never allow myself to feel stuck again.
I ended up working hard, finding ways to trade time for money and spending every dollar I earned on things I felt like I deserved. Things I thought would buy back my childhood, or at least make up for the one I didn't have.
I spent all my energy hustling and grinding in business, pushing myself to the limit in fitness, and indulging my personal life... I was running toward this vision of my perfect self, living this perfect life. But all the while I was feeling stressed about how to get to the next level. Each level was never enough.
Eventually, I was diagnosed with chronic adrenal fatigue. And to top it all off, I fell into six-figures of debt and my marriage was falling apart.
I felt beyond defeated. I was exhausted and overwhelmed. I felt like giving up.
Was this how I was going to live the rest of my life? I seriously considered itn. But after a year of paralyzation and feeling sorry for myself I finally realized: Something had to change.
I started weeding out the unnecessary things, the things that costed me precious time and energy, but contributed little value to my life. I began with my home and my possessions, then moved onto more prevalent things like my health, my finances, my relationships, and my mindset.
The results were profound.
I gained everything back and more.
Since the start of this journey, I have the best health I've had in over 15 years, my business grew and reached all time heights, and best of all... I have an abundance of balance and resources to create and pursue my passions; time to enjoy my family and friends, motivation to grow my dream business, and energy to live the in-between moments. I’m finally living my dream of an everyday vacation.
