If your partner or spouse asked for a soothing 5-minute massage you would be more than happy to do it for them, so why not show yourself the same loving-kindness and give yourself a nice head massage! This exercise is helpful for tension headaches, migraines, mental fogginess or for general stress relief and relaxation. Remember that taking small moments to nurture ourselves and fill our cup allows us the ability to give in return.
Follow me as I guide you through a soothing self-massage for your head. Feel what your body is experiencing as we move through this process. What does your body need or want? Be sure to listen and honor what it has to say. Explore sensations and techniques, do what feels good for you. Feel free to incorporate techniques from previous days like smell (you can add oils to the air) and deep breathing. Do this as often as needed!
