Many of you may know that I absolutely love practicing self-massage! I typically do this with a foam roller or a lacrosse ball, but it can be easily done with other similar tools, for example a tennis ball or the corner of your wall. This practice helps to break up scare tissue in your facial tissue, promoting fresh blood flow and healing. It is seriously amazing!
Take a few moments to identify sore or tender areas on your body, placing your ball on that point and allowing your weight to create pressure as you move back and forth or maybe side to side. Honestly, whatever movement feels good. This can be rather intense, so take it easy and listen to your body. Write down your experience in your workbook.
