Focused activity, similar to mindful silence requires our full attention but you’re not required to be silent. We have been practicing together for the last 20 days on bringing ourselves into the present moment, finding relaxation and ease in our bodies and minds. Now this challenge really kicks off when its required to do all of this while moving.
Find a rhythmic activity that will gently increase the heart rate. This can be sweeping, cleaning the windows or shoveling in the garden. Practice staying focused on your body and your activity. Can you find mental and physical ease and relaxation while you do this? Write about your experience in your workbook and feel free to share what you did with your community.
