Visualizing or guided imagery is an amazing and science supported tool that can help you relieve symptoms of everyday stress. We all have moments throughout or day or week that can sometimes feel like too much. Do you ever feel like you just need a break, do you wish you could just leave it all behind or take a vacation? What if I told you could… Okay maybe it’s just a 5-minute vacation in your mind but it really can help to induce a sense of calm and clarity when needed.
Take 5-minutes to visualize your happy place. It’s helpful if this place is real but it can absolutely be made up. Your mind has no limits. As long as what your visualizing brings you into a place of relaxation, comfort and ease. Use your workbook to write down what this place looks like, be descriptive and be sure to come back to your happy place whenever you need a mini vacation!
