Concept

Today’s video offers a meditation technique variation called progressive muscle relaxation. By lifting or creating tension and then releasing various areas of the body we begin to notice the difference between tension and relaxation. With direct focus and breathing you can begin to invite ease and relaxation into the muscles and tissues throughout your body.

Practice

Before starting the video find a very comfortable space where you can lay down or sit up without being bothered, really get comfy and make sure you feel supported. Following along or on your own lift and tense various areas of the body and then release. Spend at least 5-minutes doing this, let yourself relax, let go and find ease.
